Hi, I'm new to this forum. I've heard a lot about your kindness to us IMG. I'm in the difficult situation now, would like to hear some advices from you. I have F1 visa now, working as PA in the clinic and my doctor will sponsor H1 for me. With H1 in my hands is it easier to get residency ? The other hands if I quit working there I"ll have chances to finish my step 3 and do observership to get more LOC but apply with my F1 visa. Which one is better for me ? :?: Thks........

ur residency prog is the one who has to sponsor u a H1. your current employer can only sponsor u for ur current job and not for ur residency.
and first u have take a residency position and than u can apply for H1 and not the other way around.
