i guess i should have asked it this way- why burns cause curling ulcers

in burns...there is hypovolemic shock.............leads t ischaemia....necrosis....sloughing...ulcer formation

in stress there is release of steroids that predispose to GI ulsers. Burns also present a form of stress. so both ischemia and steroids lead to ulcer in burns

While its standard practice to give H2blockers for burns patients to prevent curling ulcers......and I think its mentioned in textbooks too....one of my professor once said its a wrong practice and the H2 blocker play no role in curling's ulcer.....I somehow don't agree with him........is there any new research or finding in regards to this??
