Congratulations to all those who matched and for those who weren't that lucky please dont lose hope- we will make surely make it next yr.
I am an Img from India, had applied for IM/psych resid this yr but could not match. However my husband did match in IM this yr on a J1 visa.
Now I have 2 questions-
1. Should I apply for J2 visa or should I continue with my preexisting 10 yr multiple entry B1/B2 visa? Considering the fact that if I apply for J2, given my track record, there is high probability of it getting rejected as they would think me as "a potential immigrant".
2. If I apply for J2 and my plea gets rejected, will I still be able to hold my old B1/B2 visa?
Awaiting your valuable inputs.
