alpha1 - IP3/DAG alpha2 - Gi -decreased cAMP

I say it like this: (because there is no easy way in this field) Alpha 1-Gq stimulates phospholipase C :arrow: DAG,IP3 and Calcium2+ :arrow: Protein kinase C (for vasopressin also) Alpha 2 -Gi inhibits adenyl cyclase :arrow: decreased cAMP :arrow: decreased Protein kinase A (for alpha 2 and beta)

similar is with muscarinic receptors M1 , M3 are as a1 receptors ("excitatory actions") M2 , a2 ("inhibitory actions") --> inhibit adenylate cyclase

in addition like a1 receptors are angiotensinII rec.,several opioids rec. +5HTsubtypes too. :!: as for a2 rec similar to them are D2rec.too
