hie folks just got the results.185.not a very high score but i just scrapped through.these exams are tougher than i actually thought but they can be passed with even higher scores.i used Cracking the Boards Step 1 and a lot of MCQ's especially the ones i received from ECFMG.i'm an IMG from Zimbabwe now resident in NZ.good luck to those preparing for step 1 farai 8)

peruvian thanks.there was a bit of everything really but there were tough questions on genetics, biochem and pharmacology.a lot of easy questions on GIT and neurology.at the end of the day you can't use somebody's exam to predict how yours would shape up.in my opinion the best way is to be prepared.the First Aid to Step 1 is very good help especially about 2 weeks before the exam.practice those MCQ's until they say no. farai 8)

oddisy4u i had cracking the boards step1 and i read it as it is.the 1st topic is genetics followed by biochem, then things like microbio, immunology and pharmacology.after the basics sciences then there are systems ie.CVS,neurology, respiratory and so on. in btw i did mcq's and the last 2 weeks i concentrated on first aid step1. hope that helps. farai 8)
