Hi,
I'm about to take the Step 1 next year, and I'd like to know what kind of job in any medical area I can have meanwhile I'm studying... I'm from Dom. Rep. :roll:

Many people do research at a US university. That tales a lot of time, but looks good on your CV and pays a decent salary. If you don't have a US work permit though, it can be tough. I know people who come here and then work without a permit as a pizza delivery person, or waiters in restaurants. Occasinally you will find a private doctor who wants to have an "assistant" who will hire an IMG. Those are hard to find though.

Well ..Ipseg it depends on if you are permitted to work or not......if you are permitted to work you can do tons of things for part time at the any hospital while you study for the test!!!!!!!
Do some research where you are interested to work and find out!
