not sure about MCC but Rx with ceftriaxone for A/c episode and if cirrhosis present prophylax him with FQ.

yep...E.coli...so, 3rd generation cephalosporins with better gram negative coverage.. in case of children with nephrotic syndrome it is pneumococci
