I wonder if anybody ever tried ONLY the MCQs and got through ? If yes how many questions ? Whats the best pool of questions?

Kaplan Qbank should be best pool of questions.Also at http://www.blackwellmedstudent.com/ you have free usmle simulated test if i am right.
