Difference b/w Categorical/Traditional and Primary care track ? hello bbb If i am not wrong, some int. med. programs offer 2 different tracks categorical/Traditional and primary care track and both have similar duration of 3 years. I dont understand what's the exact difference b/w two. And also in case if i apply to both of them in one hospital than does that means 2 different interviews or only one is sufficient for both. And which one is generally considered better and why ? thanx

One is a new tract just for physicians who want to be internists, and not go for subspecialty. As for interviews, I wouldn't know about what other hospitals would need. I have preliminary medicine and categorical here, and we have just one interivew day set up - it's the same for everyone. Good luck~
