I was just checking the AHA guidelines for ACLS and apparantely they have changed the ABC (Airway, Breathig, Circulation) to CAB!!

is this true? and does this mean that we have to answer questions this way on USMLE ?

your inputs are appreciated!

anyone? any ideas?

guys i think this is a fair question which concerns all of us.

20 people viewed this and no one has a feedback?

come on! contribute a bit!!

all is the same

thanks kibiron for your response!

but i think we should specifically follow AHA guidelines which we are tested on smiling face

looks like no one is interested. i quoted the AHA consensus below for those who want to learn:

"The newest development in the 2010 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC is a change in the basic life support (BLS) sequence of steps from “A-B-C” (Airway, Breathing, Chest compressions) to “C-A-B” (Chest compressions, Airway, Breathing) for adults and pediatric patients (children and infants, excluding newly borns).
