Hi.I'm a US Citizen,studying in 3rd year medical in Mumbai,India.
Well,I want to do my compulsory one year internship as externship posts in USA.
I am being told by US universities that I'll need Medical Student Malpractice insurance,.My parents are in Orlando,FL.
Please advise me from where can I get this kind of insurance.

Hi there
There is an entity called the medical protection society...They don't really offer malpractrice insurance but they do provide indemnity..I did my elective in NY and they provided cover...And the best part is it's free for med student's...Plus they send you some free handbooks...You should try them....http://www.medicalprotection.org
