Apply to family medicine programs or expand your search beyond California......

Hi bbb, thanks for your advice I am thinking of ways to impress the program directors in order to get an interview and let them believe that i have the talents coz I don't think the scores aren't really reflecting how good i am. to all img having same situation as me, don't give up

to bronco, you need to apply for an application status letter, which is required before you can start your residency. Besides, you need : dean's letter, recommendation letters x 3 usmle step 1 and 2 scores ecfmg certificate good that you are a green card holder, that's much easier to get in a residency program good luck

To Bronco, you can visit the california medical board's website, and get the information regarding applying for the ' status letter ', you can't apply via email or on the website, you need to send all the required documents to them... you get the scores, you mean the step 2 CS? has it been released? good luck to you, what programs you are going to apply? maybe we can share informations.
