Can someone explain to me what anergy to Candida antigens is?
this may sound stupid but I will take that risk.

Is that t cell disfunction?

anergy is when the body doesnt create an immune response to an allergen or antibody.. mostly seen in T lymphocytes where they are non reactive.. but also seen in B lymphocytes.. since candida albicans is a fungal infection, and requires immune response from the B lymphocytes to create completement and antibodies..

patients who cannot produce B cells are have anergy (inability) to fight candida.
