IM or Transitional.They require certain months of experience in IM about but not sure 5-6 m. to be able to apply for PGY2 in Neurology.

Which neuro program would you guys rank first?

1. University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE
2. Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX


hi guys

my situation: step 1=207/78; cs (passed); 3 years of research : one in cell biology in wash u, plus two of neuroscience in harvard. one paper in PNAS, plus 3 abstracts in society for neuroscience, plus one oral presentation in an internantional congress. 1 mo of anesthesia rotation in NYU, 2 months of internal med rotation in McGill. Any thought of what kind of program I should apply, I don't mind community hospitals since for me the most important is to start working in NEUROLOGY!


Neurology is becoming competitive especially with the increase of the applicants who don't need visa. US LORs is becoming more and more important in getting interviews. Most of the people who matched last year were using this list:
