Rjay,
Thanks a billion for your unselfish and astute comments.
I did not realise that "haemat" part did not fit in properly...somehow missed it....will shift it to the system based part - fits right there.
Actually, I had to personalise it so, because I am preparing for another exam simultaneously...cannot allay it for now. I am helpless...so, I have this schedule.
In system based approach ...subjects starts with following order..........Embryo,Histo,Anatomy,Physio,Patho and then Pharma !!
System-based study here = CVS in all the subjects, like that and on.
Although planned, I forgot to mention the QBank!!
Thanx pal....hope many more people like you come along and guide me through.

start with 3 Ps patho physio and pharma.
I cannot do so, because I have another inevitable exam at hand and I am pressed for time.
behavioural science and rest are mainly cramming and u'll forget it later so better do them later.
To cram it later, I should have read them at least once - and I never have, so I started with them :-)
patho - goljan is best. dont read kaplans for patho and anatomy- no added advantage.
Thank you very much nonstopdoc. I have modified accordingly the subjects proposed for kaplan study.
stick to one source otherwise ull find problems in revising them in the end and one more thing PRETEST books just SUCK and r total time wastage.and ya nobody now reads BSS
Actually I am kind of rusty (graduated in 1998), however, many posts in forums indicate pretest and BSS are tough+tedious, although they help consolidate and understand concepts properly...that's why I chose to go forward with them.
I am inserting Anne's advice that she posted in "exam experiences" --> http://www.prep4usmle.com/community/viewtopic.php...
do practice lots of qs,whatever the source be---i had done kaplan q bank once, though in the end i wished i had time to do it once more.did A&L qs,some qs from nms(though i wished i had done all of them),nbme qs etc.all helped in clearing concepts.

Thank you all, very much, once again. Bye

Thanks for your message. Looks to me you have a good plan. I have a very minor thought Maybe I would review biochem and mol biol back to back. Good luck on the study!! BTW graduating at 1998 does not sound old to me. }
