I thought that with increased magnesium, calcium is excreted since they both compete for reabsorption in the kidney. And if calcium increased, mg will be excreted. It seems to me that in this case, we have decreased mg, so an increase calcium level, so the answer should be B?? Not sure if my thinking is correct, drrabiness, what is the answer??

Mg blocks the ndma receptor, removing mg basically opens the door allowing calcium into the cell.
