In kaplan surgery notes ,in chapter (vignettes) neck trauma ,they have mentioned 3 zones I,II and III. It is ssaid that zone II is middle of neck.Then what is zone I and III ??

zone 1- upper neck- above the angle of the mandible
zone 3 - frm the clavicle to the cricoid cartilage :?
basically these two contain imp vascular structures, hence the need for arteiogram before one goes digging into the neck.
will check up on the boundaries and write back.
