a 2yr old , active , asymptomatic boy is examind for the first time.bp is 130/80 in the right arm with a barely palpable rt femoral pulse.the most likely finding in the remainder of physical exam. is A pale, bluish discoloration of lower extremities. B rib notching on cxr C an ejection click of a bicuspid aortic valve. D a normal left femoral pulse

can u explain it plz ? i think since the child is 2 yrs age and asymptomatic ..u go for C ,otherwise B. Am i right ?

yes it is c ..the question is physical finding not xray finding. rib notching is an xray finding and upto88% of aortic coarctation is assosiated witha bicuspid aortic valve.. iewhy c is the answer whttp://www.medicine.uottawa.ca/radiolog/eng/teachingfile/cardio/Case17/Case.htmlhy ejection click the answer
