dear bbb, i hope u can take out a few mins to answer a query of mine. i graduated last yr and i am an img with a green card, us clinic experience , LOR's from US professors, a summer of research and a publication in an american journal..i also have a 93 in my step1. my question is about when ishould apply. i plan on giving mystep2 in the end of sept. should i apply based on my step1 score or should i wait for my step2 score before i start applying? i have heard alot about how PD will put my app in the 'do not interview' pile if i apply without my step2 score. is this true? or can PDs call u for an interview just based on ure step1 score? plz let me know what u think is the best course of action. thank u tc smokey.

The same answer that I give every applicant. Apply as soon as possible. Many program directors will interview persons with one score. If you want for your step two scores, you run the risk of interview slots being filled and getting very few interviews. Complete your steps ASAP and apply soon.
