hope I haven't misspelled anybody's name...don't wanna get on Namf's bad side. 
how's it going? it's good that you're still around. I liked this little group of ours that's graduating from step 1 forum. What dya'll think about starting to gather up resources for step 2 for next year (Namf..you're spared d/t surgery block)? Is there goljan step 2 (that...would be...spectacular!)?
I've been reading a little bit here and there, and it seems that Crush the Boards is pretty doggone good for step2, and FA2 sucks. I've also seen Rx for teh Boards (step 2), and it seems pretty good, but haven't seen anybody use it on the forum.

Not sure what you meant by "(Namf..you're spared d/t surgery block"--I'm floundering in surgery right now though, so please give me a few days to collect myself and then reply. I am definitely thinking you have a good idea going, though, and I'd love it if this same crew took it to the level of Step 2 together again!

Namf, I mean you're spared from participation until you have a change to take a breath. ) hope all is well. just took my fam prac shelf test...i must be out of practice because i only finished 80 out 100 questions. I was flanked and attacked from the rear (wait...does that sound right...). I just hope I passed.

That sounds fantastic! It's such a pleasure that to see you all....Nuprin,Ahdy, Docargun,Jsmart,Quinn,Namf,Tasneembu,Kalsam.... and others still here and communicating each other!!!!!!!
Ahdy i absolutely support your idea and i would love to have contact with you guys and if i did passed step one allready I AM READY to start tackling step two some time soon....... but i am not intended to participate 2005 match...... so i will have to do really well! .... i meant not like i did in step 1. I spent about 7 months and i wasn't ready for everything for the step one....... kind of scares me now! It's very hard to wait........ but one week from now my result should be reported on the OASIS :oops: :cry: :cry: :cry: ....... i still have feeling that i did bad! may be very bad! :cry:
Ahdy did you get your result yet? What's up with Nuprin and Docarjun?
I am in Asia now and leaving to US on 15th.
Let's keep in touch and after we all get our result let's make plan and let's do Step two together!

I am not sure I answered your question about physio endocrine receptor questions: there was maybe 1 max--and it was only an element in the question, per the typical USMLE integrative style.
Geez I hate that test.
Hope you did OK with the surprise attack from family medicine. I heard a lot of people were crying after that shelf at my school too...
I'll be back after I survive the next week or so. I think what you;re doing here is great--lets all get an early start for this next one! Anyone see Nuprin!?

Ahdy2000 is right....more help the better. If we are organized we can have good preparation for step 2. I am not sure if I will make 2005 match also.... be it is better to begin now with prep.

sounds good to me! i've been swamped making up for all the obligations i ignored during my boards studies, but i'll be back, and most certainly will be a part of our step 2 team!
i don't know if goljan has a step 2 audio... i've heard rumors but nothing definitive.
for those of you with palm pilots, i've got the hookups for the wards, so shout me a pm if you're looking for something.

Guys............ i heard step 2 q bank is must too!!!!! But people who are in the med school like Nuprin,Ahdy and Namf if i am right..... should know what prevous students used for the test!
For me i just have to see if whether i failed or not first...... hopefully this thirsday i will find out....... God allmighty will answer what's best for us..... so what can we say!!!!!

Count me also in !!!ofcourse it depends on the score.I will keep my fingers crossed till then.
Has been busy with the relatives and was just roaming around and having fun for a while!!!!
ELM,i have heard that people do questions from usmleworld and they are helping a lot.Though the difficulty level is more,but its always bettter to get read for the tuffest things.Kaplan qbank ofcourse will be must again.And the good news is Goljan is having some material for step 2 also.I am gonna buy it first this time,as soon as i get my results.
I just wished to get the result soon,and start with studies with you guys again.
I had used kaplan for step1,but for step 2,i am confused.I have heard something like blueprint notes are better than kaplan.Though i dont have any idea.Anybody will put light on it?And i heard FA is not suficient,you need "crush the boards"
I guess you re not getting chance to peep here ELM.Both Nuprin and Ahdy came out with flying colours.

and ahdy with 245/99
Great scores,right!!!!
I think Nuprin started with her medicine postings,cant see her much on this forum.
And namf also gave the exam,he was the last one to give in our team.
We will just keep praying for everybody!!!
I just pray God everybody should get good results,of their exopectations!

its good to see all u guys,i think we would be more confident than step 1 cos we had a good learning experience for step 1,even im confused ab't Kaplan or blueprints,and i just wanted to know when can we try the oasis trick and how.take care guys,hope we all study together in step 2.

Hey ahdy
I just got word that I passed step 1 via the oasis trick. Thank god for that!!! I was having a nervous breakdown waiting for some sign of relief.
Anyhow, the reason I am dropping all of you a line is that I would like to get in to your allegiance you have going on. In fact I was thinking it would be a good idea to start a group on yahoo groups. I think that by all of us pooling our resources, we could get so much more material to really nail step 2.
Either way, lemme know what yer thinking.

I studied the blueprints (pediatrics, ob/gyn, surgery, medicine and psychiatry), for preventive medicine i studied the kap notes. I did 1 month of the kaptest and about 15 days of usmleasy. I also did the Pretest clinical vignettes for step 2. That's all folks.
