hello everyone! i took nbme form 2 today (followed mash's advice) since i was already exposed to form 1 questions... 330!!! :? that got me scared. so i decided to move my test to sept 10. one good thing about setting a fixed deadline- i was able to focus more compared to my five months prep prior to august 
my star subjects: gi and renal way out to the right
weak subjects: behavioral sciences, hematopoietic&lymphoreticular, nervous system/special senses way out to the left with an asterisk :cry:
this week's plan:

Good decision to postporn the test.Now pull up your socks and start again quickly those weak subjects... :wink: only 2 weeks left now.

thank you sooo much jsmart. to tell you honestly, i was so devastated to see the nbme assessment. i thought i was ready... but when i looked at the first question, i froze... i only started recollecting myself and relaxing after doing several questions in the first block. i never thought it was that scary!!! :shock: i'm sure glad it's not the real thing :roll:
back to work... :wink:

things i did today:
1) finished two topics from webprep pharma
2) did nbme form 1- 330. this time nothing on the extreme left. everything towards the right and crossing the borderline. high subjects still gi and renal to the extreme right.
after dinner will try and finish pharma. if sleepy, will do 50 random unrepeated questions.

finished another four topics in pharma webprep, did random 50questions in qbank and scored 62%

wow, i can't believe it! i was expecting a late wakeup call today but nope, i got out of bed at 630! :lol: oh well, i did a little here and there before finally getting back to my desk. as you all know, i'm married. so, hubby first (and my tummy) before anything else

ok, this server is weird. it keeps saying internal error. i sure hope it's temporary, this site ahs helped me a lot!

thanks for the boost everyone! my qbank ends on the 31st and i haven't done half of it, yet!
did nothing yesterday- just three measly topics from anatomy! had to go out with hubby for something we had to do together.
hope today would be fruitful with anatomy... hope to finish it today. that way i could just focus on goljan, qbank, and fa next week...

Hey bm..... This is ELM i don't remember ever talked to you but....i was just looking at the posts today .....just was killing some time.....and saw yours..... and wanted to tell you something since i was there in your shoes!!!! :wink: :wink: :wink:
You have only couple of days to finish your q bank........and you didn't even finish half of it YET????? that's not good....... sorry..... but you HAVE TO FINISH YOUR Q BANK SOMEHOW before the test!!!!! it's A must...... forget the other stuff that you have planned for now.... focus on finishing q bank!!!!! I know it may sounds stupid..... but if i were you i will be doing 200-250 or more qs a day and battle to finish the q bank first before it expires or ..... perhaps you could extend it!!!!! I was told by many when i was preparing for Step 1 finish the q bank and do 250 or more qs a day right before the test..... it will prepare your sistem for answer many qs...( Lattitude, Nuprin....and others were told me that they were doing 250-300q a day !!!!!!) Your NBME score is not so appealing........... that means you still have to do alot.........my NBME score 3 weeks before the test was 410 and i was scared to death to getting that low score......... but i improved myself in last 3 weeks and i got 83 on the real test! ......... Just some friendly advice ..... nothing to scare you or anything!!!!!!! It's all for your benifit!!!!!!!

To add on what ELM has said , completion of q bank is a MUST dear 
So arrange your time properly and finish it.

this is so weird. it says on my kaplan home page that my qbank is good until tue, but the actual qbank says i have less than a day left to my subscription.

been sleeping late these days! oh well. working hard on my qbank (i'm glad i could still access it), i didn't care how much i was getting, i was just going click, click, click, and trying to jam everything into my brain.
today i decided to focus on first aid and goljan... wish me luck! :wink:
