i was very bad today. my alarm went off at 5, then 530, then 6... and finally i went out of bed! i took my shower then had breakfast with my hubby. i was supposed to be at my desk after breakfast but all i did was watch my hubby get ready for work. i was feeling lazy... even kept calling my hubby on his way to work! then at 10am i was ready to rock this test! man, i must be a 10am person! no matter how i try and do things early, i just don't feel like it! oh well... back to work...

finished immuno webprep today. after being the consistent 50% and mid 50% for these past few days of revision month, i was overjoyed to finally get a 72% :icon_bounce: on qbank (all new questions, no repeats yet). i've got three more subjects to go on webprep: genetics, pharma, and ana. after peeking at micro, i decided to forego the thing and focus on fa micro instead ok, on to my studies... hope to finish webprep today...

hey bm, great score chicka! keep it up....had few questions for u...when u do questions are u doing random 50s or topics u've covered w/webprep? also, when u're doing webprep...are u only listening intently or u taking notes on the side? man, these last few days seem like utter hell...so many things to do. taking a break makes me feel so guilty yet soooo good. (it's like chocolate). lol. anyhows....few more days to go and all this hard work will definitely pay off w/great scores! g'nit binnie

thanks mlf and binz! i sure hope i'm improving and not going through a see-saw  binz, i'm doing random 50 questions on qbank and reading the explanations to the correct answers right after doing 50 questions (so that i don't forget the concepts behind). whenever i do webprep, i have my first aid beside me, and follow the lectures on the corresponding topic on fa. i also take down important notes (trigger words) in my fa. on to my studies...

i'm doing medical genetics now- majority of topics that i never encountered in qbank? does that mean that they won't appear in the exam? oh well. they seem interesting...clones, gene mapping... i just hope i'm not spending too much time in non hi-yield topics. i still have pharma and anatomy to go...

Its better to be prepared for everything bm!!! But first of all ,you should keep your prorities according to the available time. Even i guess, they didnt tested on those topics in qbank and nbme, but who knows??? I hate reading those topics. when is your big day? i just forgot...is it 25th???or 24th???

thanks for the tip jsmart i'll follow your advice and finish genetics webprep. i was hoping to finish all of webprep last night but i was so sleeeepyyy... i was literally nodding off josh, my exam is on the 27th. i'm hoping to get a consistent 70 on qbank and nothing lower. so i'm pushing myself. if i get lower than 70, i might think twice and move the exam. but as of now, i'm really really pushing on schedule, and try and stuff things into my pea head  here i go... [-o< <:wahtch_where_you_go:> <:better_now:>

hey,how you are evaluating your scores.I was just wondering. How are you taking those questions??? i mean, how you create the test. now ,for me there are no unused items left.So i have to choose from the pool of all items. The questions get repeated. how should i evauate myself? do you have any idea????

thanks kiranadi ! josh, after taking each random 50 question in qbank you get an evaluation for that particular exam right? i just keep getting 70%s for every 50 questions since yesterday! the cumulative score (before yesterday plus current) won't reflect my improvement so i disregard that. i only used up 14% of qbank (been using questions from different sources before qbank), so i get new questions each set. i'll do the repeat questions two days before my exam.

kiranadi, i got goljan audio lectures from ebay, and with it came a lot of questions. the books i used ie. kaplan and brs have questions too. there are also free online questions ie. blackwell's. thanks for posting up your compliment, it inspires me too josh, yeah, that wouldn't be helpful at all- doing same questions all over again. at least constant exposure drill the principles in keep doing questions, such as the ones i mentioned above (if you haven't yet). the more questions we do, the more we understand the material  God bless!
