Dont forget it has clue cells on smear = "bacteria laden epithelail cells" on a wet mount (the epithelial cells looks like they have cloud of thousands of bacteria inside, and look darker and murky). Also to do the "whiff test" you would adda coupla drops of KOH to the vaginal discharge. And another interesting thing is that Gardnerella raises the vaginal pH above 4.5
Wow...I dont think anyone care to know this much about bacterial vaginosis :oops:
