in vit D deficiency and in situation when vit D abnormally elevated,in both condition what is effect on bone? thanx and good luck.

vit D def--->dec Ca /PO4 absorption frm SI--->Hypocalcemia--->inc PTH--->bone resorption if vitD is abnormally elevated---->bone resorption (direct action on bone) (inc vit D --->inc absorption of ca /PO4--->inc[PO4]*[Ca]--->bone depositio n)

even at moderately elevated levels, vitD will promote bone deposition. its only at very high levels dat it causes bone resorption
