Thinking I did very bad but yesterday got score is 230/93. An average one. A little disappointed but still happy and relax. Did very well in 2 blocks but very bad in 3 other blocks and so so in the left 3 blocks . going to the next forum. Thank you all. Use USMLEWORLD because it is cheaper.

Hey congrats on a great score!! How do you think the usmleworld mcq's compared to the actual exam, were they similar?

blue prints for ob/gyn ped psy. did not read any inter book throughly and this was very bad. read 1st aid and crash board. crash board is worth to read . use usmleworld and get 50-60%.

nothing is similar to real test so far( i think) especially the last 2-3 blocks when you so tired to read the deadly long story.

Congrats for scoring so high on boards. My exam is 20 days from now and I am quite worried about the exam. I looked at my USMLEWORLD qbank scores which I almost finished by now. Its a variation from 48% to 70%, in only 3 tests, I scored 70...In 7 tests, I scored 65...in 5 tests, I scored 60 to 65 and in 11 tests, I scored 48-60....and there are few where I got 45%. Where do I stand?
Most worrying aspect is one of the 48% one was a recent one. Please help me with ur suggestion. In kaplan qbank, I scored 64-70%. Just hoping exam should not be a totally different story.

same thing happened to me. I even can not finish the qbank(200questions left) before i took the exam. but i think the usmleworld qbank is hard. I think I should take kaplan. There werea bunch area overlap with step1 in step2. So be confidence and read hard. In my case I only had 3 weeks for full time preparation after 2 month period not read anything. Good luck.

I took step 2 ck a couple of days ago. Personally, I thought Kaplan was able to simulate the exam's content and degree of difficulty quite accurately. I was getting 75% with kaplan when i took the exam. I don't have my score yet though so I wouldn't know if I did well or not. Hope this helps!

Thanks! What were ur scores in USMLEWORLD and when u say Kaplan qbank, did u take the online version or the subjectwise qbank on CD? I hope the questions r same. Would you plz give the detail of ur exam like what topics were stressed more.
