A 3 Year old male is bruogth to the ER with history of a gradually increasing swelling in the neck, which is present since birth. He has no develomental problems. On physical examination, the thyroide gland is asymetrically enlarged and is multinodular. The thyroide function test T4 12 micrograms?dl T3 180 ng?dl TSH 5.6 mU/L He was subject to thyroidectomy. The surgical specimen shows a fleshy cut surface.Microscopical examination shows multiple nodules with intense epithelial hyperplasi. The epithelia cells are arranged in trabecular and microfolicular pattern and the nuclei show mild atypia. The most likely dianosis in this case is: A) Dyshormonogenesis goiter B) Multinodular goiter C) Diffuse toxic goiter (graves' disease) D) Toxic nodular goiter E) Diffuse non -toxic goiter
