67 yo male presents to ER with RLQ pain x 1 day. + Nausea, no Vomitus, BM+, Febrile. PMHx- CHF, A.Fib. PSHx.- Appendectomy, Hip replcmnt.
Exam- Abd. +tenderns, +guarding, +BS, +rebound. Abd XR- neg; US-poss. cysytic mass in RLQ.
Dignosis and Definitive treatment includes?
a. Diverticulitis and Sigmoidectomy
b. Right Ovarian cyst and Oophorectomy
c. Appendiceal stump mycocyst and R. hemicollectomy
d. Cholecystitis and Cholecystectomy
e. Acute mesesnteric vein thrombosis and parial collectomy

no ..the cyst... that would explain pref to Hemicolectomy rather than cystectomy.

well... adeno Ca is the MCC od the appenc myco cyst, so we do hemicollectomy..and not just cystectomy.
