hi everyone, i'm hoping to get some insight today since everything seems to be going wrong. well, i have 21 days left. i haven't fully gone through all of kaplan notes (ie. anatomy and micro and beh sci). i'm currently going through goljan's notes (300 some pages that he handed to us)....but have only gone through half of it. i've done first aid once. i'm only hitting average of 60% on Qbank when i do random 50Q tests. time seems to be flying by so quickly....and i'm looking for some direction as to how i can maximize my time and studying. any ideas? also, when most of you read goljan, are you doing several quick reads or going through one read thoroughly? am i the only one that's so slow at reading his notes or should i be flying through them over and over? and for micro, is there a faster way of covering it rather than doing kaplan's micro notes or should i try to fit it into my schedule? sorry for so many questions....with only 3 weeks to go, i'm getting nervous. any advice u can give would be great .... binz

So with 21 days, you still have PLENTY of time. I would recomend reading Kaplan through one more time. You should be able to get through them in 1.5 weeks or so. I didn't use Goljan, so I can't help there. For Micro, (which is not that heavily emphasized) I just memorized the charts at the end of the micro section of Kaplan notes (simpler versions of the charts are in FA). That was more than enough info. Then I just flipped through Kaplan for some buzz words and associations. 60% is pretty good, and you have 3 weeks to go. Just keep reviewing and that will come up. remember Kaplan questions are pickier than the real test (but also more straight forward). Good luck!

Hey I agree with retro. I think he hit the nail for final prep. I am posting to speak for the wisdom of goljan. If you can manage listening to him during your "spare" time it might help. I found it particularly effective to write down any concepts I found difficult in my FA so that I could review them later. Hope this helps. Peace lo

Hi Binz n Cookie The link to get the goljan lectures is posted below. To navigate there, go to cool goose. Select the music Icon, search, then punch in papi in either author, or title. Here's the link http://web.music.coolgoose.com/go/music Yo binz. I just thought of 2 ways to remedy the download speed problem. 1, If you have a laptop, go to a library, or coffee w/wireless access, and download it there. They usually have a speedy connection. 2, If that is not an option, then go to an internet cafe, and download it there, and burn it on to a cd. lemme know how it turns out. lo
