Hey All I finally got my score today 11/21/2005... I took the USMLE on 10/26/2005 and it was reported on ECFMG on 11/16/2005
USMLE Step 1 Score: 258/99
MCAT: 22P
NBME 1: 790 (265) 3 days prior
NBME 2: 710 (257) 3 days prior
Kaplan Q Bank: 81% first time through, 92% second time through... all random 50Q timed blocks
Kaplan Simulated: 82%
Blackwell: 81%
USMLE CD 47/50/49
I did not use any other question source... I did take Kaplan Review (the retreat course in Chicago... it was very helpful to put it all together! I highly recommend it... it is well worth the money!)

Best of luck to all who check this board... I checked this board all the time... It seems that NBME 2 correlates very well with USMLE scores... Again best of luck...

I prepared for 5 months with several breaks.
nbme 1 = 460 / 85 - 5 weeks prior
nbme 2 = 460/85 - 3 wks prior(did hurriedly)
did 20 odd blocks from qbank in tutorial mode only and did usmle cd averaging around 80 %.
Should have done qbook also which I later regretted.
Used goljan pathology,brs physio and high yield anatomy.rest all kaplan.
Last month is critical for your score.Do lots of questions which i didnt. do first aid and give away the exam

Nbme 2:660 (9 days before)
Exam is not impossible but FRED looked hard for me
Pls manage the time this factor is really important<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
And the most important of all is to never stop praying only god knows what is going

my score 99/244.
qbank- 73% ( timed 7 blocks in 8 hours each time).
nbme - 550( 20 days before the exam)
kaplan simulated - 75% ( 10 days before)
usmle cd- 80% ( 3 blocks timed 3 days before the exam).
what i did - KAPLAN+ FA + QBANK( DIDNT DO Q BOOK)+ GOLJAN AUDIO(DIDNT READ HIS NOTES ).

Step I (Nov 29th) score released Dec 21st 238/96
Kaplan qbank- avg 75% (always timed random), completed 2 days before exam
Kaplan qbook- did not keep count (completed about 60%)
Kaplan simulated- 81% and 70%
USMLE CD-39, 41, 44 about 2 weeks before the exam
Prep time- 6 months

Kaplan q bank-60%(did only75%)
kaplan diagnostic-75%
did not have time and money for NBME
studied for 3 and half months as had other exams in between

step I score: 88/ 216
studied kaplan lectures, few topics for patho form BRS and anatomy few things from HY( i wish i would have done some more). First aid.
kaplan q bank: 65-70% (done random questions, timed)
kaplan q book: 80%(1 month before exam)
kaplan diagnostic :50% (taken 4 months before exam)

Hi everyone
I have been a silent visitor of this forum for a long time now. I am an img from India. I graduated 6 years back.
For Step 1 I studied for 3-4months. Used mainly Kaplan notes. Did a lot of questions in the last month. Revised from first aid twice in the last 2 weeks.
I got my score today (reported on 01/12/06). Its 99/244. I took the exam in mid December.
Kaplan Qbank - average of 75%. Did all the questions in random timed blocks and repeated the wrong ones in the last 2 weeks.
Q Book 65-70%
NBME 1 640 (corresponds to 247) taken 2 weeks prior to exam.
NBME 2 620 (corresponds to 244) taken 10 days prior to exam.
USMLE CD 47/46/45 3 weeks prior to exam.

Hi, Im an old IMG. Took exam in Dec 05. Got result in Jan06
usmle step1 scores: 79/193
NBME 1: 430
Q bank: 54% cumulative, Q Book: 65-72%
usmle CD: 37,41,34
Not a great score but Im happy I passed in first attempt.

hi, my step 1 score 99/248 took exam on dec 28th and result reported on january 18,nbme form1 550 2 weeks before exam nbme 2 630 3 days before exam ,didn take kaplan course but studied the notes and rapid sereis for anatomy and nuero.kaplan q bank -82 % in a non timed manner, studied for 31/2 months since i am appearing for match this year .

Q Book 55-68%, did it after 1st reading, redid the wrong one
Kaplan Q bank - average of 65%. Did all the questions in random timed blocks after 2nd reading and repeated the wrong ones.

This board has helped me a lot figure out where I stand and gave me the confidence to take my step 1 without too much studying. I hope my information helps. Here are my results:
- Kaplan Diagnostic: 64%
- Kaplan Mock: 72%
- Kaplan Online Test (for which a passwordis needed): 66% (3 days before
actual Step 1 exam)
- NBME 1: 530 (92%) - 2 weeks before actual step 1
USMLE Step 1 result: 238 / 96%

finally i get to contribute to this scoresheet:
Kaplan Qbank - 71% average (4 months before)
Kaplan Qbook - 75% avg (1 month before)
A & L book - 77% average (1 mnth before)
NBME1 on Nov 14 - 490 (88) (done in a very rushed situation as i had very bad internet connection)
USMLE CD : 42/39/41 (the night before)
USMLE Done on 16th Jan 2006
Score reported valentines day 2006 - 249 / 99
im completely ecstatic. as you can see from nbme, i really didnt expect to get very high. i am sooooo thankful to be the exception to its accuracy in predicting results.

Kaplan full length: 74%
My test was hard as can be. I felt it was traumatizing, was expecting a very low grade, but somehow, thank God, i passed with this score. Good luck to all, and hope all do well.

my exam was on 21st feb
score reported on 15th march = 99/252
Kaplan q book after 1 reading 70% (54-88)
Kaplan q bank,after 2 readings , randon blocks of 50 and timed 77%(70-88)
NBME1, one month b4 exam 610/242/98
Kaplan 2001 simulated 80% 3 weeks before exam
USMLE CD 42/45/46 10 days b4 exam

Kaplan Q bank=71%(46~90%, most in 60s in the first half, 70s in the second half)

well my score doesnt corelate to the nbme, and kaplan tests, but i got sick on exam day and was very sleepy, seems affected me badly
