Hi!
I'm an IMG presently doing PhD at University of Cincinnati. Got my step 1 results just 2 days back. Was hoping for a better score but I'm happy with this. I prepared for 4 months with Kaplan review books, Robbins and Lange books for pharm and micro.
USMLE Step 1 date: 11/22/04
Score: 248/99
Kaplan Q Bank (all tests comprehensive): 82%
USMLE CD: 85%
Plan to take Step 2 in 3-4 months. Will appreciate any suggestions on preparation especially for CS.

took exam on 8 th dec,
got score on 8th jan,
its
90/221
score threads...
kaplan simulated ..60%(25 days before the exam)
.from this exam got to know my weak subjects,worked on them ,
then took usmle cd,
Q bank score .......on average 70...74.%
blackwell....72 %
usmle cd ...44,39,40 (1 week priar to exam)

i relied heavily on this thread for score interpretation/comparison, and thank Allah I wasn't an exception..
qbank 50%-88% average was 72% all random blocks of 50
blackwell 80% did only four blocks
qbook 30% when i started studying, end it was 70-90%
bss: only did physio questions and was getting the low 80's
nbme1: 570
nbme2: 590
usmle cd: 80%
took test on dec 21, result arrived jan 21
score: 98/242

Step 1 score 3/2: 234/95
Q-bankscore/% complete: 72/85
NBME 1/ time b4 exam: 550/5 days
Studied with Kaplan lecture notes, First Aid, BRS Pathology and Physiology. Listened to Goljan lectures. Did Q-bank just once. Took about a year of studying after work hours (first 8 months about 4 hrs per day, last 4 months about 6 hours per day). Highly recommend Kaplan materials.

I could not do as many question as most people beacuse I had a very tight schedule, so my advice is: study as hard as you can and never give up, it's doable!

not a perfect correlation from above but still happy with my score.

WITHIN LAST MONTH
NMS(lazo) (73% AVG) from low60-90 but mostly in mid 70's
WITHING LAST TWO MONTHS
BSS (70%AVG)
blackwell - 70%
all been done more than 2 months ago. ALL 100% COMPLETE
qbook - 56%-90% /
qbank - (66% AVG) low 60's to high 70's in the end all randomized
kaplan assesment giving with each subject from live lectures - 60%-90%
kaplan simulated (2001) - 67%

I am an IMG (Radiologist from Bombay, India)
Got my score today (it took a month for the score to be reported)
USMLE Score Report -205/83
Kaplan Q Bank- 65-70%/ 75% complete
Studied seriously for 6weeks only before the exam, so that makes me feel that the score is ok and I can certainly do better.

Sorry for disappearing for a long time!
Got my score today.
Firstly this forum is great! And also the analysis by lvspro and others was very helpful in keeping my apprehension level down. I also need to thank lots of u probably some who even dont know me including Mars Aris, Mani, Malaysian, Meghana (wonder why all have their names beginning with M) and many others for all the discussion and encouraging words. Not sure whether I worked to my potential, but nevertheless am happy.
USMLE Step I: 93/230.
NBME 6 days before the exam: 530 corresponds to 226.
NBME 3 days before the exam: 520 corresponds to 224.
Kaplan simulated 4 days before the exam: 70%.
USMLE CD: I dont remember but was much below what most students get. That made me horrified, but I guess, that was because many of the questions in the CD were already in either qbook or qbank and so most students were solving the same question for probably second or third time and I hadn't done those so, atleast psychologically made myself comfortable.
I did not get time to solve many questions in qbook and qbank but I did a few tests and got around 33-40 right out of 50 thats around 66% to 80%. That was in the end. Initially I was pathetic.

y isnt there a post like this were ppl actually state there step 1 and 2 scores and how many interviews and prematch offers they got?
i think it really helps

Nbme test has the best correlation to the actual exam and result.
Nbme1: 520- 6 weeks before the exam
Nbme2: 590- 4 days before
Qbank: started in the low 50's, finished in the low 80's
Usmle cd: 80% 4 weeks before
