at last i can post here
i really made many mistakes in the exam
i spent all the time after the exam in flashbacks of qs in the exam i sloved wrong
but here is my result
247/99
took the exam 17/4
oasis updated 9/5
all i remember is usmle sample cd was 90%
uw 77% was the best qs i ever solved and the most likely to the exam
goljan i`m a great fan
the most unbelievable thing in my results is behavioral ... i got a star
and all what i can say alhamdolelah

score received 5th july 2007 (it's a true copy received 10 days after request for the score was faxed as didn't get the report even after 6 wks post-exam)
Step 1 score 258/99
NBME 720, 720, 680, 680 = 258, 258, 253, 253
Q book 78%
Q bank 85%
Pretest pathophys 80%
Pretest patho 80%
USMLEworld 78%
3 months prep time, essentially 1 and half months, full-time working in Singapore, taken 13 days leave
First Aid * 2times, no time to read other review books
did questions as mentioned above
usmleworld has my highest ranking, only have time to read explanations of wrong items
pretest pathophys and patho also good to do, i think, will help a lot in exam

UW, I did 70% of the Qs with a 67% score
Kaplan Qbank: I did 98% with 63%
NBME form 1, 1 month before 430
form 2, 21 days before, 530
Form 3 10 days before,, 560

First of all I want to thank Mars Aris. If it had not been for him, I would not have even thought about taking the exam, let alone achieving a 96...
I studied for 3 months. In my opinion First Aid, Usmleworld Qbank (although I just did a part of it in tutor mode) and Goljan are the gold standards. If you do not have time, focus on these...
I wasted too much time worrying, especially after I took the exam. Please, do not do it! You are going to feel you made thousands of mistakes! But... let it go and 99% the result is going to prove otherwise

Study resources: Kaplan + Goljan + NetAnatomy.com + Fadem’s Behav. Sc. + Step 2 CK highlights videos and Dr Levy’s Neuro lectures (these were very useful)
Correlations: UW: started around 65% (before goljan)
ended around 75 % (after goljan)
last day before exam 84%
NBME form 1: 253/99 (3 week before exam)
Kaplan simulated: 77% (1 week before exam)
Qbook: 70 - 75%
Robbins review of path: about 85%
PreTest path. 80%
BSS: 60-70% (best qs are here!)
Katzung and Trevor’s qs: around 75%
Considerations: exam tougher than NBME in at least 3 blocks (were like UW)

I took the exam in mid-may and got the result 5 weeks later.
QBOOK – 81%(completed)
QBANK – 74%(completed)
USMLE WORLD – 67% (completed) 73rd percentile
NBME 2 – 580 (236) – 40 days before
USMLE FREE SAMPLE TEST- 39/45/43 => 85% (2 weeks before)

I received my STEP 1 score today: 213 / 88
Exam date: June 06, 2007
Qbank: I did all Qs once, overall 59% (2% below the average)
USMLE CD: 32, 32, 36
UW did not take it.
I did ~ 6 tests of Exam Master (~70%), don’t remember well.
NBME did not take it

You would be doing yourself a disservice by not doing all of USMLE World. I think it is a far better Qbank than kaplan in my opinion.

UW is definitely better than Kaplan.
