Hey everyone, especially moderaters. I was looking at the exam score experiences, and noticed that it is a mix of scores, experiences, suggestions, etc... Since I've completed my exam, I've spent an inordinate amount of time looking at what other people scored on similar practice material to see where I stand. Furthermore, I have recieved a number of posts from other people who have shared the same neuroses. So in honor of the post-exam neurotics, I am starting a thread/sticky for people to come and compare the scores that they get on various sources to others, as well as a few correlations. If you have an exam score summary, please post it in the format I give below. Also, If you have a correlation you have found useful, feel free to post it as well. Let's try to limit the content of the postings here to scores, so that others may expedite the process of their obsessive score checking. This is not a novel idea, as I recently stumbled on to it on the SDN. Step 1 score 3/2: 235/95 Q-bankscore/% complete: 71/76 NBME 1/ time b4 exam: 560/6 days NBME 2/ time b4 exam: 550/3 days USMLE CD/ time b4 exam: 80%/2 weeks Kaplan diagnostic: 45% Kaplan full length: Any other scores you feel are relevant= source/score This is my info, and I will post my S1 score when I get it back Thank you, and if the moderaters feel this is an important thread, please make it a sticky. I firmly believe we will have an overwhelming number of posts. For people who did not pass s1, or who did not achieve stellar results, I feel that your scores are vital. The reason I say this is that it gives everyone else the opportunity to learn from your experiences, and adjust their studies accordingly. Peace lo

Step 1 May 234/95 Qbank 70% USMLE CD 46/43/44 1 week before Kap sim 71% I think USMLE CD is the best predictor. At least to know if you are going to pass or not. I guess if you get >35/50 1 week before you are most likely going to pass.

Hey all I borrowed this correlation from ahdy's diary. Since, no real correlation exists, I am posting these scores as past relationships between NBME material and S1. 5---- 182 ------- 183 ------- 184 ------- 185 ------- 186 ------- 187 ------- 188 ------- 189 ------- 190 ------- 191 ------- 192 ------- 193-- 1sd--- -------400 ------- 194 ------- 195 ------- 196 80---- 197 ------- 198 ------- 199 ------- 200 ------- 201 82---- 202 83---- 203 83---- 204 83---- 205-- 1/2 sd------- 450 84---- 206 84---- 207 ------- 208 85---- 209 ------- 210 86---- 211 86---- 212 ------- 213 ------- 214 ------- 215 88---- 216 88---- 217-- mean--------500 88---- 218 89---- 219 89---- 220 89---- 221 90---- 222 90---- 223 ------- 224 91---- 225 ------- 226 92---- 227 92---- 228 93---- 229-- 1/2 sd------- 550 93---- 230 94---- 231 94---- 232 94---- 233 95---- 234 95---- 235 95---- 236 96---- 237 96---- 238 ------- 239 97---- 240 97---- 241-- 1sd--- -------600 98---- 242 98---- 243 98---- 244 99---- 245 99---- 246 99---- 247 99---- 248 99---- 249 99---- 250 99---- 251 99---- 252 99---- 253-- 1.5sd--------650 99---- 254 99---- 255 99---- 256 99---- 257 99---- 258 99---- 259 99---- 260 99---- 261 99---- 262 99---- 263 99---- 264 99---- 265-- 2sd----------700 99---- 266 99-----267

well guys i didn't pass step 1, but thats also because i ddin't really do a lot of questions, i basically did kaplan video course, and kaplan lectures, also BRS and high yields, and my worse subject was behavioral, and my exam was filled with it, so now i have to really concentrate on that. Step 1 score = 174/71 Usmle CD = 37, 40, 33 Kaplan qbank = did prob like 40%, just subject wise and averaged in 50s Didn't do NBME Hopefully, the second time around, i am planning on going thru the entire qbank with explanations and then taking the kaplan simulated and nbme tests which i didn't do before.

Hi guys here is my figures: estudied for 7 months step 1 may 31st : 217/88 Q Bank kaplan didn't have time and just answered about 1400 q just once: 71% 50 Q'sblock all randomly) USMLE CD: from 39 to 44 I used mostly BRS books and HY series. I think I should have used Goljan and NBME Q's to get a better score. I recomend you to get Q bank for 3 months it is really useful. I couldn't get it the las 2 months, hope this can be useful to you.
