Q. A 72 year old man comes to you with his 67 year old wife who herself had TIA 5 months back and 45 year old daughter who is suffering from mitral stenosis (NYHA II).He wishes to go to supermarket to buy fruits and veges on weekend. He is otherwise fit without any neurological or cardiovascular abnormality but has bilateral loss of vision.A detail fundus examination revealed bilateral macular degeneration. Your advice is

a- you can go without any help.
b- you should be accompanied by your wife
c- you should be accompanied by your daughter
d- better ask help from occupational services
e- admit and get treatment and then review
