you might have to convert the audio to a higher bitrate, like 96kbps. i had to do this for it to work. i think i used "alive mp3 wav converter." my registration has expired so i can't check for sure, but i think that works.

oh, it is in mp3, you just must have gotten a copy with a very low bitrate (to save space or to fit it all onto one CD; at 96kbps it's 2 CDs). there are no mp3 players that recognize 54kbps. don't be disappointed with the nomad zen! it's a great player with more features than the others. don't forget about the AUX system which will allow you to play the audio at a faster or slower speed.

For all your audio conversion needs use dBPowerAMP. Its free and easy and fast too!! Just look for it on google or something. By the way, I had to convert the goljan's audio lecs to a higher bitrate ( 96kbps recommended)

Hi! I had the same problem with my car stereo (sony that plays MP3 on CD´s), I used itunes (go to EDIT, then PREFERENCES, and under ADVANCED tab, click IMPORTING. Now choose MP3 Encoder, and set a bit rate higher than 96 (Mono). That should do the trick, it worked smoothly for me.
