Which of the following spirometry measurements has the greatest sensitivity for detecting early air flow obstruction?
A. FVC
B. FEV1
C. FFE
D. FEF25-75

i also thought "B" but answer is "d".

1:FEF25-75% is abbreviation of Forced expiratory flow during 25-75% of FVC (forced vital capacity).It is FLOW RATE not VOLUME as FEV1(forced expiratory volume in one second)
2:It is also called as MAXIMUM MID EXPIRATORY FLOW (MMEF)
3:It is affected maximally when there is obstruction in the small or medium sized airways.As you know in the respiratory tree ,max airway resistance is in MEDIUM SIZE AIRWAYS.
4:When there is obstructive element in ways ,naturally those airways which are ,already offering maximum resistance i.e medium size airways should be affected first, and their representative test FEF25-75% should show this change
