Hi! I am an IMG from India. My husband is a citizen and I have applied for my greencard which I should be getting in 6 months or so. Currently I have a work permit(EAD). I have tried calling up different residency programs but no one has ever accepted a doctor in a pending status like me before, they have never heard of EAD, they say I need to have a greencard otherwise I can't apply. Is anyone out there in a situation like me or does anyone have any information about this. Please help me I am in a lot of tension.

hi i'm in a slightly different situation. I am yet to recieve my EAD. But you didn't mention what you called up the different PDs for...
what do you mean by doctor in a pending status like
are you looking for residency interviews or for observership or volunteering in some research.
I'm a IMG from india married to a us citizen waiting for a green card and EAD document. But at the moment i'm studying for step 1. By the time i'm done with the steps i'll probably have the green card in hand.
