would Lysch-Nyhan syndrome cause magaloblastic anemia? I think the only problem with it is not being able to go with the purine salvation pathway so everything is synthesized from scratch. but purine is expressively produced so there's increased uric acid.

Methotrexate inhibits DNA synthesis and causes megaloblastic anemia, so some individuals with lesch nyhan also get it since purines are reduced.

But the most common causes of megaloblatic anemia are B12 and folate def.
