I'd go for NO (6). Substance P as far as i know it's a Pain neurotransmitter in the spinal cord NO seems more like it to me because, generally in DM there is a microvascular disease - and vasodilation by NO might do the trick. but I'm not sure... anybody else ..... ::very_confused::

well not, Sub P IS present in other parts of CNS in addition to Spinal cord and also is released from the peripheral axons when damaged as a part of "Axon Reflex" but about the Q i am not sure if it is responsible for dyesthesia....
