Is this book as good as Lippincott's Biochemistry?

Hi, I think Levinson, cause it contains the imunology part that is missing from "Made..." , Finally, it depends on how readable yuo find the books, there are both excellent for boards. Good luck!

I know for Levinson and made r simple , but I realy love the style of Lippincott's biochemistry so I would be very happy if their micro is also as good as their biochemistry.Does anyone have that book?

Lippincott's Illustrated reviews: Microbiology: "Comprehensive, highly illustrated review of microbiology similar in style to Lippincott's Illustrated Reviews: Biochemistry. Compare with Levinson's Medical Microbiology."
So, if 1.Lippincott's Microbiology is as good as levinson (which is the best)
2. you like lippincott's style best...
go for it!

Hi,
I used the Levinson last year and it is a great book ... definitely would recommend it to all my friends. It has a little more pages than other step 1 books but at the end of the books there is a great review chapter plus lots of questions.

Although I'll get Levinson in august 2003 from amazon, this book was recommended from a friend who scored 99 on step 1, taken in 2003.
