hey,
My CS application...the form 183 got rejected....They havent given my any reason and its saturday so cant call them up...
I applied online for CK and CS...sent both the FORM 183...they accepted the CK application....but rejected the CS application.....my oasis still shows 1200 $ in my account...
Has this ever happened to anyone??
very distressed, please help

I think you should contact them via telephone and enquire about it .
This is wierd ,iam sorry...
Don't worry ,try to get reasons from them via phone .See if u missed something in form..

I got accepted at my second application attempt to cs ,first one was rejected because of the stamp that should cover the portion of the photo and the paper was not at the right place ,it was at the bottom of the paper ,which was wrong a really wrong place..It was totally of my fault :roll:
Are you a graduate Salman ,because if you are not a gradute you know they want you to send couple of papers from your school ,medical diploma ,etc ...
I am not sure what is the problem ,but you should ask them via phone ,I am sure they will explain you what was the problem..Sorry to hear that ,I know what this rejection means because I have experienced it couple weeks ago personally ...I hope things will get better very soon..Good luck

Hey Asmi and alice,
thanks a lot for ur support....I still dont know what went wrong....The stamp was at the rite place....but Alice, I never knew they rejected the application on such petty reasons....maybe similar thing happened to me....
Today is Sunday so will call them on Monday.....Hopefully should get a date in November sometimes now in LA.....

Hi Salman,
We are in the same boat: they rejected my application because of the some difference in my name on medical diploma and my application. Legally, they are right. I graduated the Medical School about 8 years ago and now I had to supply the document that confirm my name. The problem is that you have to reapply and wait 15 (now is 15) business days for review and approval (hopefully). There is no special line for reapplication. I called them and asked to rush it-no way. 
Just be ready to send them your reapplication tomorrow-prepare everything.

Hello,
Yeh I found out...apparently there was some discrepancy in the date of birth between my STEP 1 form and STEp 2 CS form....now if only they could have told me this before so that I could have given them a copy of my passport or anything...
Anywayz, I have to reapply and I hope my CS permit comes in time....so that I have a date in December somewhere....

wish u all the best. i can imagine how hard it would be for u as time is runing by so fast. i have also applied for it but havnt recieved scheduling permit yet.

I received my permit yesterday (second time application). What's relief! :!:
And they opened additional spaces in LA for October. Now it took exactly 10 business days (on 10th day). So, Salman, it is not so bad.
You also will receive it very soon.

to BP927 u r lucky that u got ur permit within 10 days. it has been more than 2 weeks and i havnt recievd my permit yet.what date have u selected??

For the first time I also was waiting about 3 weeks (15 business days). And now they told me by phone that it will take 15 business days.
About the day- at the begining I took the first available date - 3rd of October in LA , but in the night i suddenly caught the Chicago - september. It is enough time to prepare if I will start now? And I enrolled for the Kaplan course for October. So, I don't know exactly what to do now.
