Scene:ASIA CUP which is currently underway.
India Vs Pak. Toss:India, elected to bat.
Shoaib bowls one furiously fast at Virender sehwag.(Viru is acting Macho and is without his helmet).As he tried to hook it over squareleg fence for a six, he missed the ball completely and it struck him like a thunderbolt . Viru fell down for a moment,but got to his feet immediately just like Jonty Rhodes.He appears confused, and kept on asking what has happened. He did not remember that Indian innigs has started. Physical exmaination appears apparently normal. He is otherwise asymptomatic .India coach John Wright is concerned and asks the Physician(YOU) , howlong he has to wait before Viru can play again?
a.2 minutes
b.20 minutes
c.200 minutes
d.if asymptomatic for a week,may return to play in a week.
e.if asymptomatic for a week, may return to play in a month.

It is D.grade two contution patients should avoid sports for 1 week.

It is D.amnesia plus confusion with no loss of conciousness is grade two concussion.Patients should avoid sports for one week.

just by reading the topic heading and even before opening this thread, i knew it was related to cricket!!

question says "pt fell down but got back to feet quickly", it indicated that there was a momentary loss of consciousness, answer should be E

I interpret that «fell down» as being caused by impact, without loss of consciousness, so D. Of course, other players would give us more details.
