Differentiating these three.... Sturge weber Von-hippel-Lindau Osler-weber-Rendau.. I think I knew them well..but very often get confused..when it says 'hemangioma, leptomeningioma, portwine stain,straw-berry,..bla..bla.." Please <:help:> Thanks.

sturge weber--AD; port wine stain hemangioma in the dis of oph div of V n malformation of pia mater vs MR ; seizures; cns calcifications VHL-- AD; ch3;cav hemangiomas in cerebellum and retina; increased inc of pheochromocytoma n renal ca osler weber randau---AD; hereditary telengiectasia of skin n MM (inc reased inc of GI bleed)

there r lot of points in these syndromes... but for exam..u have remember only few.. 1) sturge weber syndrome is called encephalo trigeminal angiomatosis.. remember facial inv in area of trigemiinal nerve supply...and CNS inv so discoloured face and seizures :idea: 2) von-hippel lindau again angiomas ...mainly retina and CNS inv also remember tendency for B/L and multiple areas of renal cell carcinoma 3) osler-weber -rendu is HHT heriditary hemorrhagic telngiectasia...means AVM everywhere..say lungs, CNS, liver etc :idea:
