I will be getting my step2ck result in oct and once I am ECFMG certified can I go ahead and apply for step3? What does the sep 3 last date given on fsmb website mean?? It says for applications for 2010-last date is sep 3rd.. Can someone explain about this please....

u need to finish application before 3rd sept to take it this year, after that you can apply only for next year

what does that mean?? finish application before 3 sept?? does that mean that we can only apply after jan if we havent' been certified by september??and how soon after applying can u give the exam?? like if you apply on 1 jan can u give it by next week??

@agnosia..thanks for the response.. @sunnyside..I know that it takes 2 weeks for processing once they receive our application and then they will allot u a 3month period..

thanks that means that we can't give it in the first two weeks of jan.. that sucks.. we can't give it this year and not even early jan..
