i agree with tasneembanu. do your revision with the questions, it sticks longer, and gives quick recall (as compared to passive reading) to things you came across in the questions and wrote down in your first aid.

agree with all the above. if you want to assess yourself bf your exam, you can do nbme, but you might not want to spend the time on it. best of luck; we'll be pulling for you!

with few more days, use your time effectively. like everyone else said, questions with side by side review seems the best options and FA. or go through subjects you think are your weakest.

good luck,

Hello ,
Don't loose hope now as you have few days ( 2-3??) you have done your best for prep and God will finish the rest
well I felt the same before the exam but in the end I was cool.Just revise FA and if you have time :listen to Goljan at least the first 3 lectures...

Just a quick note, NMS is much harder than the real test. Questions are much more picky. Take the NBME and see what your score is. That will give you peace of mind! I looked at NMS a couple of times and got so disgusted with it because it made me feel so dumb. But the real test is not that hard at all.

Hi sia.....i took my test last week.........and i would say if you have little time go over neuro CTs and MRIs ..... it's worth spending some time..... and X-rays too if you have time..... most of Anatomy qs they asked were with CTs or MRIs! I also had a wierd X ray that i had to find ilium...... and i couldn't .... becuase i couldn't tell which one was which.......Neuro CTs very HY! Do them if you have little time!
Good luck with everything .... our prayers with you!

Funny, my exam didn't have many CTs or x-rays at all. These exams are all so different. CT/MRIs (which are by nature cross sectional) are high yield because there will probably be one or two, but as to what they would be, it seems random.

going through them once should be enough as long as you're familiar with how to read them. if you've got the time, do go through the angiograms bc i've heard there's at least one on every test. did you get one retroviridae? then again, that IS only 1 question! in any case, if you've got a neuro atlas, it's worth flipping through it. i've heard people get questions like one describing hemiballismus and then you have to pick the section of the normal pictured brain that's damaged.

all the best sia!!!!!!!
we all are feeling the same way,but you will ever be satidfied the amount of study you do!so just go ahead!
i will pray for you!!!

no arteriograms on my test.

and I might add no CNS CTs/MRIs either. Actually very few neuroscie questions at all. I don't think that means they aren't important. It's just a reminder of how different everyone's test can be.
