differentiate primary biliary cirrhosis and primary sclerosing cholangitis ? what are the definitive diagnostic tests for both ?

primary billiary cirrhosis---autoimmune ds,destuction of intra hepatic bile ducts seen mainly in woman ass with other autoimmune disorders like RA ,sjogren, AMAs can be found in 90-95% of patients with PBC, and they have a specificity of 98% for this disease PSC--focal ds involving destruction of both intrahepatic &extrahepatic bile ducts mainly in males ass with IBD ERCP and percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC) remain the preferred investigations characterstic stricture bading seen on ERCP plz correct me if i m wrong

Since AMAs are so specific , when they are found in RA or sjogren does this mean that PBC definitely coexists?

M2 anti-mitochondrial antibodies are found in 90-95% of patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC). A titre of greater than 50 IU/ml suggests PBC even in the absence of symptoms and in the presence of normal alkaline phosphatase
