Guys just wanted to know whether oasis only works if you are an IMG, cuz since IMG's have graduated already, they are eligible to sign up for step 2 right away as well, and how about if you are an international student, but havent graduated yet? Hope somebody can asnwer this, thanx! I am too scared to try it but was just wondering!!

Hi Rida! As per my knwledge IMG's also cant register for step 2 CS exam without passing step one. They can register to step 2 CK only. So if you are trying the oasis trick ,try to egister for step1 again or try to register for step2 CS.In first case ,it will say you are already passes and wont allow you to register. And in the second case it will allow you to register for step 2 CS. Hope it helps.Or dont try for step 2 thing, just try to register for step 1 again! I have seen your name on subject forum a lot,I am sure you will rock this exam, good luck for great scores! :icon_thumb:

Cool, thanx for the info josh2004, i really appreciate it, i wish you all the best as well. The only reason i was asking actually my friend who took her step the same day as me, when she tried the oasis trick, it lets her register for step 1 and step 2, so she was all confused and wanted me to post this. And are haven't graduated med school yet so we thought maybe the trick works for IMGs only. I guess maybe its some kind of error. Thanx though for your help.

Hey one thing.... tell her to try the oasis trick only after oasis says that her score has been reported. Not before that! Before that it allows everybody to register, unnecessarily she will get panicked !!!!!!! Hey rida, when did you gave the exam?I am giving it next month.I am not good at the qbank scores,so a bit feeling low.My aims are high...99,ut i want some suggestions from everybody ,what should do to improve it? Some say as many questions as i can,is it ok if u get low scoes in them?or i should revise more?

Yea thast the thing, she was trying after oasis reported her scores. I told her not to fool around and just wait and see what happens in the mail. Neways, I gave the exam on june 30th, just praying now that i passed. Keep doing q bank, the more you do it, the better, and make sure you are reading the explanations even for the wrong choices, i realized i learned more from just reading them, wish had more time to do all of qbank, but i didn't have much time. Try to focus on what you are missing in qbank, and don't worry too much because i felt some qbank questions were a lot harder then the actual test. But i agree with doing as many questions as you can, its really the best thing to do, and make sure to look thru first Aid, it really helped me. Good luck!!!

yes, as many questions as you can, but if you have time, do missed questions at least so you can get those questions drilled into your brain. if you have lots of time, make a notebook of missed questions/concepts for you to review later.

hey nuprin, that's what i exactly did- wrote down the concepts to questions i missed but after a while i felt i was wasting precious time (and my fingers went numb). so i decided to just remember going through the explanations in the qbook and brs near the end of my review, or maybe go through the copy and paste ones in qbank. josh2004, can't really advise you right now since i'm to do my exam still  all i can say is keep your hopes up, listen to the masters, and do your best

hey bm, me, too!!! i started from the beginning writing stuff down and then i never had time to go back. i stopped doing it near the end bc qbank was taking me forever. when i started repeating missed questions is when i started really learning the stuff.

You don't need TOFEL any more. The step II CS fills that role .... And yes, all you need is a passed step I.

NOW i see
