I passed... Make your like easier when you study, I strongly recommend the USMLE Step 1 Secrets by Thomas A. Brown and David Brown.. it is worth the 30 something dollars you will spend on it ... Also skim through the First Aid a couple of days before the exam after you read it several times and also reading the Underground Clinical Vignettes really helps.. especially for the P topics (Pharm, Physio and Path) . Good luck in your studies people.. this forum offers great helpful tips.. and remember this test is totally doable.. keep a healthy amount of stress but don't go overboard worrying .. a lot of one's mental attitude towards this exam is what really determines how well you do..if you get overwhelmed by thinking it is too hard you are just hindering yourselves..later..

Congrats! About the Step1 Secrets .. I missed this book from listing it under the review books. If the book you used is the one I just inserted at this link I would appreciate your ratings/comments. Regards!

yes prep4usmle.. that is the book you posted on the link.. I rate it very highly due to the ease with which one can read this book and also due to the fact that it covers and explains specific topics and questions that are covered in the USMLE exam.. part of the problem in studying for this exam is figuring out what to study, also finding a good source of questions and developing the thought process that one needs to tackle and successfully deal with the questions.. this books leads you by the hand in covering all this high profile info.. I read it about 10 days before the exam and I feel it made a great difference
