well , I am studding around 4 months for step 1 by now and actually read most of the topics at least once
and recentlymostly i review them , from Kaplan and BRS together and histo.. and Embrio.. from high yield , phar.. from lipen....
my recent problem is i space out so many times and it gets a bit hard for me to concentrates ....

ooh !
You are doing well,what i have done till now is-I did one revision to kaplan.I am using kaplan only!so not a big hassle.
and still i think i want to give exam this month...... 
i have done with qbank.
but no good score,i am scoring 65%now..but not before!
keep yourself motivated,that only will help you achieve your dream.keep a watch on the residency positions and feel that how dificult it is to achieve he desirable one.Sometimes pressures work best!
what i do is..i go through the exam experience of people.and then i feel how much hey worked and i should also do that.

yes i m back to work.
did few question blocks
block 1 68%
block 2 62%
block 3 54% :evil: :evil: :evil:
block 4 60% :evil:
and i am back with my Goljan cd!hope to review physiology again today.I found out,what i was missing.The questions at the end of chapter are the best one in kaplan....being lazy i never looked back to them again.So i was missing few concepts because of that.
so will work on it!

so today i am going through physiology section of kaplan ,last time man!its a pain.but surprisingly nowadays i started loving my books.ha ha ha....

just started webprep on monday-physiology (after finishing kaplan books on my own). and i'm in physiology till now :cry: this should be my revision month! and yet i'm getting crazy scores- mid 40s in qbank and a 30, 26 (while talking long distance with a friend midway through the exam on 26) on usmle cd. i'm taking the last 50 questions on the cd at the end of the day.
i'm scheduled to take the exam on the 27th. what about you?
ps. is it ok if we watch out for each other? i'll join you in your daily diary in this thread

though i have got aug -sept-oct eligibility period.
so we are going to give it together...

yes its good you are doing it thoroughly till now.
take all the questions banks seriously.it wil make you more comfortable at the end.we are going to give exam whole day !!!!!!! cant imagine myself sitting at one place and solving questions for 8 hrs..i will go crazy!!! :wink:

have you gone through goljan's high yield notes? i plan to do that but i don't think i have the time! :shock: just finished listening to the endocrine pancreas from webprep.
hmmm maybe i should do the last questions on the usmle cd...
then off to the next lecture

i am going to borders today ,just want to take a look of a book'roadmap to pharmac" by A&L .One of my friend recommended it to me.
lets see,if i can complete myself with some textbook as i have used only kaplan and medical school knowledge is not useful,the way we get questions in this test.

hey josh! i'm done with physio webprep, thank God! i created a new thread for my diary and you're welcome to visit as often as you like i don't know about the reference since i only limited myself to kaplan, fa, brs patho, goljan audio, and qbank. i'm scared to venture out into other books at this time, it might drive away my focus. i believe the masters would be very kind to help you out :wink:
that's a great idea! i think i'll do the kaplan smulated on monday too! more so to test my stamina! my husband keep telling me i have so little patience with answering exam questions, that i read faster than giving myself time to analyze the question.

2days per subject,this is a last chance,no time to go to kaplan books the week before exam.So last week will be only for FA.
monday - 200 Questions
revise physio
goljan 2 hrs
tuesday - 200 questions
revise physio
goljan 2 hrs
wednesday 200 questions
revise mol bio
goljan 2 hrs
thursday - 200 questions
revise mol bio
goljan 2 hrs
friday - 200 questions
revise biochemistry
goljan 2 hrs
saturday - 200 questions
revise biochemistry
sunday - 200 questions
revise anatomy
So in summary
everyday do 200 questions(1/2 repeatations and 1/2 new)
revision of the subject plus FA!!!!!
And yes the most important part listening goljan!!!!!
so here i go...

dont know how to corelate it,but it was exausting man!
i am fully tired now.
