Hey all!

I had a lot of confusion on German measles vs. Measles. Please correct me or add salient point:

The German measles are aka rubella
Just Measles are aka rubeola.

So then I thought of MMR vaccine--measles, mumps, rubella. I guess it does make sense, and could also be called: "measles, mumps, german measles"--right?

But could you tell me the salient differences and how you keep them straight in your minds fellow USMLERs? Thanks!

Thank you
