what is PUD?
migraine do improve in pregnancy because most of the migraines are caused by hormonal changes in menstrual cycles

hi asmi,
i read it somewhere that peptic ulcers are helped by pregnancy bec of prostaglandin synthesis in pregnancy by the gravid uterus.

in kaplan,it says that pregnancy decreases gastric acid secretion and gastric motility,and increases mucous secretion,leading to protective effect on GIT.

yes
it is decresed the production of gastric acid during pregnancy.
There is an increase of reflux, burning pain!

thank u for the PUD part , but I have read that Pregnancy improves Migraine in 70 % o affected females , But if u think o progesterone as a vs relaxing hormone, wud nt it cause further vasodilation & increase headache ? so whats the mech o action in Migraine ?
